Candy Cane Cookies

Ingredients: 
5 cups of All Purpose flour
4 Eggs
1 cup of Sugar
2 tsp of Baking Powder
1 tsp of Salt
1/2-3/4 cup of unsalted butter at room temperature " = 1 stick " (I used 8 Tbsp sunflower oil )
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
 Red Food Coloring




Process:
1- In a bowl mix butter and sugar by a mixer for 1 minute, add eggs one by one.
2- Add flour along with baking powder,salt and vanilla extract until the dough turn hard and not sticky ( if sticky add a bit more flour , and if it's hard add a little bit of milk and mix again )
3- divide the dough into half , add a food color to one of them, ( add more until you see the color you're looking for, note that after baking color will be lighter)
4- refrigerate them for 1 hour, take the dough out of the refrigerator to rest for few minutes ( I put them into the fridge for 5-10 min
5- make the candy cane shape or any shape you want, add the decorations you want, it's fun to do this with your kids, friends or family.
6- preheat oven to 180-190 degrees ( or 
375 F ) and line a baking sheet under your cookies and put them into the oven for 10 min ( if you don't have baking sheet, just oil your pan ) keep your on it.
