Week 14
Caramel Date Cake 

- 2 cups Flour
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup oil
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1/2 Cup Boiled water
- 20 Pitted Dates
- 4 Eggs
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1/4 tsp Ground Cardamon
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Coffee
- Pinch of Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- Tahini ( for greasing cake pan)

1- Add boiled water to the dates and let them soak for few minutes
2- Mix all dry ingredients ( flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cardamon, coffee, and ginger) in a bowel.
3- Into a mixer bowel add sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract and beat them on low speed for 2 minutes or so.
4- Add the dates and the water which was soaked in to the mixture and beat on low speed for 3 minutes
5- Add the flour and milk gradually to the mixture and beat.
6- Grease the cake pan with tahini if available , it let the cake come out of the pan so easily, you can find tahini in Arabic shops, if not available you can just grease pan with oil and flouring it.
7- On preheated oven over 180°c bake the cake for around 20-25 minutes, taste with a stick or knife till it come out clean.
8- let it cool down then take it out of the pan , decorate and serve !

* You can use any kind of dates.

souce, Walnuts, almonds or dates.
